Michael Vick Eagles Jersey?

Well there is more buzz about Michael Vick on the airwaves again and this time it is about Vick wearing an Eagles Jersey in the upcoming years. It has been reported that Vick has signed a 2 year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles and this has mixed emotions among Eagle fans.

Some love the idea of having a talented star playing for them, and others who have hated Vick for quite some time are upset at him playing for THEIR team. But while these rumors may all be true, it may also be another attempt by the owner to get attention off of something else. We have seen these smoke screens before and it seems that every team wants a little PR even if it's not the good kind.

Right now Michael Vick is not able to play for anyone until he serves his sentence for dog fighting. After two games in the regular season he will be able to play, whether it is for the Eagles or not has yet to be seen.

If you are an Eagles fan and a dog lover, you must really be having a bad day right now. But when all the smoke has cleared we will see if Vick will be wearing an Eagles Jersey and if Eagle fans will still be wearing theirs.

Is Michael Vick Going to Play for the Panthers?

You may have heard rumors about Michael Vick going to the Panthers. Well, although it is unlikely it's always a possibility when it comes to the NFL. John Fox was asked about Vick and he did not shoot down the idea. Now does that mean he wants him? So who knows why he didn't just flat out say that there is no chance he would ever sign Vick.

Check out what this kid has to say about Vick playing for the Carolina Panthers:

Vick has become somewhat of a liability for any team. Who needs that kind of distraction in the locker room when you have to focus on winning football games. The Panthers feel they don't need any "drama" on the field either, something that Vick has become synonymous with lately.

There are at least 2 reporters for ESPN that think Michael Vick would be a good match for the Panther football program and this is causing an even greater stir about the idea.

Here is the exact quote from Coach Fox regarding Vick:

"As I said before, you always keep all options open. I wouldn't say that's something we're heavily involved with. I hate ruling out anything. It's all a possibility.

"I don't think much about it. We're ever changing. I don't think it's high on the radar, but I don't like to eliminate anything.

"I haven't seen Michael Vick since the '05 Pro Bowl. I don't know what kind of condition he's in. You'll have to ask the people who worked him out." -- David Scott

Red Sox Tigers Brawl: Video of Youkilis Charging Mound

Kevin Youkilis just could not take it any more as he was beaned again today. After being hit with a pitch thrown by Detroit Tiger pitcher Rick Porcello, the Red Sox slugger Youkilis gave him one mean star down and charged for the mound. It was almost laughable how he charged the mound and threw his helmet at Porcello before tackling him to the ground.

Check out the video of Kevin Youkilis charging the Tigers mound:

And of course the benches cleared and the fight was on. This Red Sox Tigers Brawl was on it's way long before the game though. Youkilis just couldn't take it any more. And of course the teams feel like they have to clear the benched every time a fist is thrown so check out this video of the Tuesday night highlight of the game.

The result?

Youkilis was ejected from the game and order was soon restored even though Porcello was seen yelling at the umpire about some kind of nonsense.

What's the Scoop on Neftali Feliz? Will He Help the Rangers?

Have you heard of Neftali Feliz yet? If you haven't, you will. He is the newest pitcher for the Texas Rangers and has been throwing some serious heat. His fast ball is supposed to be consistent at 95-99 mph. His last name (feliz) means happy, and I am sure he is making a lot of Texas fans happy as they approach the play offs in October.

Here is a video of him pitching:

Playing Oakland last night Neftali Feliz had two perfect innings and was an awesome presence on the mound. In those two innings he struck out 4 A's players in style. He has been scouted like crazy so we will see what Texas will do to make sure they hand on to Feliz. We all know they need him, but I am sure a lot of other baseball managers feel the same way.

Last night was the big debut and we can only imagine the fanfar Mr Happy will get if he keeps this up. But as all of us know in the sports world, the trump can leave as soon as it comes. Let's just see how much of the magic Neftali can hold onto.
